State managment -- Kill the Aproach Anxeit

One thing that affects a pick-up the most for me is the state I'm in. If I'm in a great state, I will do incredibly good. I have no AA (Approach Anxiety) and I bring every one around me up. If I'm in a shitty state, I get some AA, I'm not too expressive and my sets don't go the way I want them to.

I have two strategies for handling my state. One is to invite my friends to pre-funk at my place before going out. I love my friends outside the community. They don't talk game, we have inside jokes, we make fun of each other, go out and pick up chicks. It's easy and simple. When I'm with them, I'm happy and in an amazing social mood. It's a snowball effect. One makes a joke, everyone laughs and then some one else makes a joke and every one laughs. All that laughter has the snowball affect lifing the mood of the whole group, giving all of us social super powers.

But there are some times where I like to go out alone as well. In this situation, I don't have the luxury of having kick ass friends. In this situation, I blast music, take a shot of Sky Vodca and chase it down with a redbull. Then I take another shot and mix it up with the redbull. Just before I leave my house or car, I finish the redbull. close my eyes and listen to this song by Wisin Y Yandel called Rakata. It makes me feel like the shit and then I slowly open my eyes and wolla, I'm in state.
