Clothing

Believe it or not, clothing can have a dramatic affect on your game. I didn't really believe it at first but now I do. Everyone talks about it so I'm surprised why I haven't pick this one up. I realized that some of my friends with less game than me get great reactions when they're wearing nice clothes and a lot worse reactions when they're wearing not so cool stuff. With clothing, there are several components you want to look at.

First there are different looks and you need a look that is congruent with you. Here are some examples of looks: Gothic, preppy, gangster, classy, cowboy, surfer, artsy, sporty and the things go on.

On top of that, there are things like who you are. These are the things in your identity. Are you a bad boy, business man, a family guy, a pro athlete, a body builder, a dancer and so on.

For me, on the identity I picked the bad boy. I'm into martial arts, riding bikes, not afraid to get into fights, and a lot of things that I would consider to be bad boy. But I'm not a bad boy completely. I also identify with things like a guy who is doing well for him and may be a tad bit business oriented. As for the look, I identified with classy and the look I absolutely hate is the gangster look.

So what I did is to put those things together. I started to buy nice shirts and slacks and dress up shoes. Nice watch and some chains for the neck. Dress classy but change it a tad bit to look sexual/bad boyish. I really love this look and hopefully I'll be able to understand more about fashion sooner. This is still very new for me. I want to see how people will react to me after I have fully integrated my new look because my dress code will be congruent with who I am, hopefully :)

It looks like this Pick-Up thing is more than just picking up women. I'm definitely becoming a better person :)
